Chyawanprash – Herbal Jam Supplement

This is a unique formula we chose to carry after testing several varieties. As Amla is the chief ingredient in this preparation, it is not possible to produce a truly authentic formula in Canada. As such we decided to work with a specific facility that produces a very high grade product, that meets our standards.

Chyawanprash, is an Ayurvedic herbal Jam supplement. It is one of the many Rasayanas of Ayurveda, which is a substance that increases longevity, arrests aging and rejuvenates the body. They are also  rejuvenators, nutritional supplements and possess strong antioxidant activity

Chyawanprash  is named after Rishi Chyawan who as an old man,  once more became youthful after taking this preparation. According to the Charaka Samhita, Chyawanprash is “the foremost of all Rasayanas”.

Chyawanprash is a total health tonic. Regular consumption of Chyawanprash strengthens digestion, absorption and assimilation. It eases constipation.

Due to its high vitamin C content, Chyawanprash also supports the immune system and thereby reducing the incidence of common infections like cough, cold and fever.

It is a good cardiac stimulant and helps in the smooth functioning of the heart.

It nourishes the neuronal cells and promotes intelligence and memory.

It has a calming effect on Central Nervous System (CNS), thereby reducing anxiety and stress induced psychiatric problems and imparts sound sleep.

Helps in the smooth functioning of the respiratory system by maintaining moisture balance and stimulating the metabolism. It is especially beneficial for cough and asthma patients.

Improves skin complexion and prevent skin infections.

Promotes hair growth and helps in calcium absorption and hence strengthening of bones and teeth.

It is believed that Chyawanprash purifies blood, eliminates toxins and is beneficial to liver.

It also works as an antioxidant, thus slowing down the aging process.

Chyawanprash helps to balance all the three Doshas. It has a marked effect on Kapha which governs the defense systems and plays a role in stabilization of all systems of the body. This formulation is fit for all Doshas types and perhaps through all seasons of the year.

This product comes in a 600g container and lasts 2-3 months with daily use.
