Our Hoof fungus is sustainably hand harvested in Ontario. This is one of our favourite medicinal mushrooms to use, and is also very plentiful! Rich in hot water loving polysaccharides that have been the subject of many clinical studies. Although decocting is an effective way to consume this medicine, it is with a multi phase tincture that one attains the most comprehensive benefit.
Modern research shows that it may help lower serum glucose levels and may increase glutathione peroxidase levels, thus potentially protecting cells from free radical damage.
