Our beautiful and aromatic red turmeric is grown in beautiful Hawaii, chemical free! Red turmeric (Curcuma longa) .
This powder features a reddish hue and is said to contain a higher curcumin content than its yellow cousins, which likely means a more potent anti-inflammatory action. It has more of a carrot like taste to it and is certainly less bitter than yellow turmeric.
It is considered by many to be the most potent and delicious of all the turmeric’s.
A reminder that turmeric is best consumed when activated with heat, fat and some cracked black pepper for optimal absorption!
