Known as Scutellaria lateriflora in Latin, its a mint family herb that has been traditionally used for its nervous system supporting qualities. Anxiety, nervousness, insomnia, are some of the ailment’s folks like to use Skullcap to help support.
Slight caution is advised for those with potential low blood pressure or anemia as the herb is known to have a slight vasodilating effect.
