Suhul myrrh is a sweeter variety of Myrrh that is sustainably harvested. The harvesters collect the resins that the tree has produced on its own before tapping.

This type of Myrrh is “given” by the tree as opposed to “tapped” which gives it a very special quality altogether as recognized by the old testament as “Stacte”.

Myrrh’s use medicinally as an anti fungal, anti microbial, wound healing, immune boosting, digestive agent goes back for centuries. It is considered by the Bedouin people of the middle east to be a primary medicine.

The word Myrrh comes from the Arabic word “Myrrah” which means bitter one.
